Hello everyone, hope you all are doing well. I am also fine here. Today I am going to share an interesting DIY with you. This article is about DIY Moon Phases wall art. You can easily decorate your wall with this creative wall art. I hope you will love this.
Last weekend I was on my bed looking at my boring dull empty wall. So I thought, I should do something fun here. I searched on Google for some suggestions and got some ideas over Pinterest, Tumblr, Youtube and many more popular websites. I saw wall hanging project all over there. So I felt that I should do this in some different way.
I searched for things in our storeroom and got some cardboard. I started looking for materials that might come in handy.
A pair of scissor
Both side tape
These materials are easily available in the market or else you can just click on the links given beside the materials and buy them.
At first we will draw a circle with the help of this plate. This will be our full moon. Cut it out of shape. Here I have used 2 papers so that I can cut 2 moons together. One we will use as our full moon and the other will be needed later.
Draw more phases with the rest of the paper. Cut them out of shape.
Now cut one more phase with the extra full moon that you have cut previously.
Now it’s time to draw a star. Draw and cut it out.
With the help of these moon phases and star, cut some cardboards and some black papers. Except the full moon cut all the phases and star into two pieces, so that you can attach them on the both sides of the full moon and it looks good.
Now it’s time to attach the cardboard with the black paper. Apply glue on the cardboard and paste the black paper. Do the same with all the cardboards and the black papers as well.
Take some acrylic paint on a plate. Draw some moon’s stain in all the phases and stars with the help of a sponge.
Now paste both side tape on the back of every phases and stars to attach them with the wall.
It is completely ready.
